On-going Infrastructure Projects

Council have identified public works related projects that would benefit the community over the next year. The projects are as follows:

1. Replacement of the West Wastewater treatment plant that was built in the 1990's.
2. Drill water wells to help provide water to our community.
3. Replace the old clay pipes that have collapsed or have leaks in them in the old town area of Rhome.

Community members approved bonds in the amount of $17.5 million to complete the above infrastructure projects. Staff will work with our financial advisors and bond counsel to sell bonds and prioritize the completion of the projects.
