City Hall & Police Dept - normal business hours are:
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday
Municipal Court customers - normal business hours are:
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday - CLOSED on Fridays.

The emails are checked 24 hrs a day/ 7 days a week, and therefore, you will most likely
get an answer to your inquiry a bit quicker than by phone call.

If you need to pay your citation, you have the following options:
1. Debit/Credit card -- online, by phone, or in person
2. Cash ( exact amount required-court does not have change )
3. Money Order or Cashier's Check (make payable to City of Rhome)
PERSONAL CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

If you are in the area during normal business hours, absolutely feel free to drop off your payment.
Rhome Municipal Court is a "Court of Record" as established by City Ordinance in 2012.

*** If you leave a payment or paperwork with City Hall staff, it is your responsibility to follow up the next business day
with the court by phone or by email to make sure the court received whatever it was you dropped off.
Carrying a concealed weapon on City premises is not permitted.
WARRANT ROUND-UP IS IN EFFECT STATEWIDE -
If you have received a notice from GHS (Grave Humphrey Stahl), please know that is not a scam.
They are the collections attorneys representing this courts regarding outstanding citations.
Feel free to contact the court regarding the notice you received.....
OR
if you just want to enter a plea of Guilty or No Contest, and waive a trial by jury or by judge,
you can go on the following pay portal: https://www.govrec.com/home/rhomecitx , to pay your citation online.
Once the citation has been resolved in full, you will have no further obligation to this court.
Your warrant will be recalled and the hold on the TX DPS Failure to Appear/Failure to Pay website will be lifted by this court.
------PLEASE NOTE - MUNICIPAL COURTS DO NOT "SUSPEND" YOUR DL.
That is something TX DPS does based on their reasons.
A "suspension" by TX DPS is a completely separate matter
from a local "hold" the court issues for failure to resolve a citation.
