Capital Projects
A capital improvement project involves significant improvements or construction of facilities and infrastructure for the community. This may include the construction or repair of water or sewer systems, repaving of streets, replacement of water and sewer lines, renovation of existing facilities, or the building of new facilities. Many cities will develop a Capital Improvement Plan that helps identify the long term needs of the community, which may also help residents understand how the municipality is investing back into the city.
