Why Rhome?

Rhome, Texas is rich with history as the city was established in the late 1850s. The residents enjoy the atmosphere of a small town and the convenience of being nearby major retailers, hospitals, and restaurants.
At the crossroads of the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex, Rhome is located at the intersection of US Hwy 81/287 and State Hwy 114 approximately 25 miles from downtown Fort Worth and 45 miles to downtown Dallas. Businesses within the city benefit from the high traffic count.

Rhome's Fire Department is one of the best in Wise County with an ISO fire rating of 4.0 and the Police Department is very well staffed.
The city enjoys a variety of businesses that include Wells Fargo and Woodhaven Banks, Dollar General Store, Motel 6, Subway, Grandy's, Dairy Queen, Pizza Pro, Giant Burger, Good Morning Donuts and four gas station/convenience stores. There is also a doctor's office, pharmacy, attorney offices, beauty salon, H&R Tax Service, and three manufacturing businesses, a cabinet shop, and glass company.
